I am an American writer and editor who is obsessed with beauty, travel, fashion and food. My journalistic writing has appeared in print and web publications throughout the United States, United Kingdom and Japan and I have created marketing, editorial and advertising content for a range of clients in the tech, wellness, hospitality and music industries. I have worked with small businesses, nonprofits and Fortune 500 companies as an editor and copywriter to refine their brand voice and improve their international reach through dynamic, accessible copy.
I also write a weekly shopping newsletter, MIDDI and share dispatches from the UK about expat life on Medium.
I am currently querying my memoir documenting my three years living in Tokyo as a so-called “trailing spouse.” My writing on the topic has been featured in the Wall Street Journal Expat blog and print edition.
A native of Metro Detroit, I’m currently based in London with my husband and my Shih Tzu, Scoop. I like to spend my free time exploring new restaurants or the latest art exhibition and planning my next adventure.
